Choose your photo shoot experience

Your session should feel like you—confident, creative, relaxed, bold, polished, or completely outside your everyday style.

Browse the concepts below, choose the one that speaks to you, and let’s create a professional editorial-style photo shoot around it. You do not need modeling experience. I will guide posing, expressions, movement, and styling direction throughout the session.

Based in St. Louis, Missouri | On-location and studio-style portrait sessions

How It Works

  • Pick one primary shoot concept below.
  • Choose one or two outfits that fit the mood.
  • Send your choice when you inquire or book.
  • We will select the best location, time of day, and creative details together.
  • You receive a polished gallery with a variety of editorial portraits, close-ups, full-body images, and candid movement shots.

Not sure what fits your style? Tell me what kind of images you are drawn to, and I will recommend a concept that matches your look and personality.

1. Everyday America Editorial

The vibe: High fashion in ordinary places.

A grocery store aisle, diner booth, laundromat, gas station, corner store, thrift shop, or sidewalk becomes the setting for images that feel unexpected, stylish, and story-driven.

Best for: Bold personalities, creative styling, denim, leather, graphic tees, vintage pieces, and statement accessories.

Suggested wardrobe: One casual outfit and one elevated fashion-forward look.

2. Downtown After Dark

The vibe: Confident, cinematic, and nightlife-inspired.

We use city streets, storefronts, neon signs, parking garages, crosswalks, reflections, and direct flash to create bold images with energy.

Best for: Streetwear, leather jackets, dark colors, glam looks, denim, boots, and statement makeup.

Suggested wardrobe: Black, red, metallics, denim, leather, or a standout jacket.

3. Soft Golden-Hour Field

The vibe: Warm, natural, effortless, and romantic.

This session takes place near sunset in open fields, parks, tall grass, trails, or quiet outdoor spaces. The focus is soft light, genuine movement, and timeless portraits.

Best for: Seniors, couples, lifestyle portraits, flowing outfits, soft color palettes, and natural beauty.

Suggested wardrobe: Cream, tan, soft blue, sage, rust, floral prints, denim, or a flowing dress.

4. Studio Fashion Portraits

The vibe: Clean, polished, and magazine-inspired.

A simple background and intentional lighting keep all attention on you. This option creates sharp portraits that work beautifully for portfolios, personal branding, graduation images, and social media.

Best for: Anyone wanting a confident, elevated, professional look.

Suggested wardrobe: Solid colors, tailored pieces, denim and a white tee, all black, all white, blazers, dresses, or minimal statement pieces.

5. Vintage Thrift Store Story

The vibe: Playful, nostalgic, and full of personality.

We photograph inside or near a vintage shop or thrift store, using clothing racks, mirrors, records, old furniture, and unexpected details to build a visual story.

Best for: Vintage lovers, artists, musicians, creative personalities, and anyone wanting something different.

Suggested wardrobe: Vintage denim, oversized jackets, band tees, boots, retro sunglasses, dresses, or thrifted statement pieces.

6. Coffee Shop Creative

The vibe: Relaxed, artistic, and lifestyle-focused.

A café setting creates warm, natural images with coffee, books, headphones, journaling, laptop moments, window light, and candid interactions.

Best for: Creatives, students, entrepreneurs, musicians, writers, and personal-branding clients.

Suggested wardrobe: Casual layers, neutral colors, denim, sweaters, jackets, or outfits that feel authentic to your everyday style.

7. Sports Meets Editorial

The vibe: Athletic, personal, and powerful.

Bring the things that represent your sport or passion—uniform, jersey, letterman jacket, cleats, ball, dancewear, instrument, skateboard, or other meaningful gear. We combine personality-driven storytelling with polished portraits.

Best for: Athletes, dancers, musicians, graduates, and seniors.

Suggested wardrobe: One sports-related look plus one clean everyday or dressed-up outfit.

8. Car Culture Session

The vibe: Bold, nostalgic, and cinematic.

Use a car, truck, motorcycle, or other vehicle as part of the story. We can shoot at a parking garage, industrial space, roadside location, open lot, or sunset setting.

Best for: Car enthusiasts, senior portraits, fashion shoots, musicians, and lifestyle content.

Suggested wardrobe: Denim, boots, leather, graphic tees, racing-inspired looks, vintage pieces, or a clean fashion outfit.

9. Rainy-Day Cinema

The vibe: Moody, dramatic, and movie-like.

Rain, umbrellas, reflections, wet pavement, streetlights, and direct flash create photos with texture and atmosphere. This concept works especially well in city locations.

Best for: Editorial portraits, musicians, creatives, couples, and people who want something cinematic rather than traditional.

Suggested wardrobe: Dark tones, trench coats, boots, denim, textured layers, clear umbrellas, or a bold accent color.

10. Hometown Personality Story

The vibe: Personal, meaningful, and completely your own.

We build the session around places and details that represent your life: your favorite local spot, dance studio, basketball court, skate park, record store, bookstore, neighborhood mural, campus area, or hangout.

Best for: Seniors, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants photos with a real connection to their story.

Suggested wardrobe: Bring outfits that represent different sides of your personality—casual, dressed up, sport-specific, creative, or formal.
